Middle Years Programme
At the International School of Kazan, we implement an updated middle school curriculum based on the many years of international experience of our teachers and coordinators. Our goal is to prepare students for successful learning in high school and for life in today's globalized world.
Most subjects in the Secondary School are taught in English, giving students access to an international educational experience and developing confident language proficiency.
Despite the international curriculum, our students successfully pass the OGE and EGE exams, retaining the option to continue their education in Russian schools or enroll in top international programs.

Middle Years Programme Core Requirements
Students participate in community service and out-of-class activities. These can be individual projects, small group work, or community projects.
An opportunity for students to conduct age-appropriate independent research in an area of interest to them. The process of exploring a problem, carrying out the work, and analysing the results allows students to demonstrate and refine their interdisciplinary skills.
Our students also sit Russian examinations at the end of Grades 10 and 12, and the school offers a range of preparation classes specifically designed to ensure successful completion of the Russian programme.
