This was our motto when we started our project in 2014 with just 7 children. Now, we have over 650 students, more than 100 teachers (over 30 of whom are from 15 different countries), and two magnificent campuses.
Nutrition: The Foundation of Growth and Development
We provide three halal meals per day, all freshly prepared by our chefs.

English-Speaking Environment
Almost all lessons are taught in English.
Only 'Russian Language' and 'Mathematics' are taught in Russian. Students also have a second Mathematics lesson, which is taught in English.
Olympiad Movement
The International School of Kazan prepares students for Olympiads at all levels, from city-wide to international competitions.
Our students regularly achieve top places, which helps them gain preferential admission to leading universities in Russia. In the 2024–2025 academic year, ISK students secured 107 prize-winning places.
Individualised Approach and Small Class Sizes
Individualisation is a core principle of learning at ISK.
Our class sizes are limited to 12 children in Discovery 1 and Discovery 2.
Other classes have a maximum of 18 students.
Flexible grouping by ability and personalised learning plans ensure that every student can learn at a comfortable pace.

Every month, our school hosts exciting events, fairs, and charity celebrations.

Service as Action
Students participate in social projects – charity, environmental initiatives, and research – learning to be active citizens. This could involve one large charity project, such as helping animals, low-income families, or orphans, or three smaller projects, such as cleaning up an area, assisting the school community, or feeding birds in a nearby park.

Our team of psychologists, balanced schedule, recreation areas, and sports activities support not only knowledge but also health.
Our doctors and school psychologists have extensive experience and create an environment that promotes the well-being and physical health of our students.
Secure, Gated Campus
The school grounds are secure and gated, with 24/7 CCTV surveillance.
All school visitors must pass through a security checkpoint, while parents and students have their own ID cards.
SPORT&ISK
Sport at ISK is a distinct area to which we dedicate special attention. We are developing our sports infrastructure, supporting school teams, and hosting exciting events.
We have our own Triathlon – a tradition that brings students together and inspires new achievements!
Art & ISK
Art is one of the key areas of focus at our school. In our Primary and High School art exhibitions, students present projects they have worked on for many months, and our own theatre delights audiences with annual performances on the main stage. These small steps lead to great achievements: for example, one of our ISK Alumni is now studying to be a producer at Brunel University London.
Admissions to Top Global Universities
ISK Alumni go on to study at leading universities around the world and in Russia, including the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong, the Higher School of Economics, Moscow State University, and Brunel University, among many others.
Some of our students even receive scholarships, demonstrating the high level of preparation they receive at our school.

Who can apply for the 2027–2028 grant:
We invite Middle School students who:
- are highly motivated and ambitious;- are proficient in English;
- have achievements in the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren and International Olympiads;
- have accolades, diplomas, and awards in academic or project-based activities;
- are ready to make their mark, develop, and showcase their successes in new environments.
The grant is awarded for one academic year and is granted only once. It may subsequently be extended until graduation from the school — provided that the student maintains successful academic performance, actively participates in olympiads and competitions, and has no disciplinary issues.
